Community Involvement Scheme
Scheme for the Funding of Improvement Works on Public Roads 2026-2027
Kildare County Council invites applications for future rounds of funding under the Community Involvement Scheme (CIS).
The Community Involvement Scheme (CIS) in County Kildare, operated by Kildare County Council, allows communities to co-fund the repair and restoration of local roads and cul-de-sacs not typically covered by main roadworks programmes. Where the local community contribution is monetary a minimum contribution rate of 8% will apply and where it comprises works the minimum contribution rate will be 20%.
For applications to be considered for funding under the Community Involvement Scheme in 2026-2027 applications must be sent to Kildare County Council for consideration by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, 29 May 2026.
