Kildare County Council Ongoing Assessment of Flooding Risk
Kildare County Council joined a further meeting today (Monday) of the National Emergency Coordination Group and relevant sub-groups to assess the flood situation and continue to coordinate the response to the impacts of recent flooding.
Our crews continue to monitor and assess current conditions and respond to any flooding risks as conditions stabilise.
Sandbags were deployed as a precaution, to additional locations in Newbridge in recent days, however no properties have been affected.
People are reminded to continue to exercise caution, remain vigilant and adhere to all public safety advice.
