Farm Hazardous Waste Collections 2025
11th November 2025: Kildare County Council would like to inform farmers about a series of Farm Hazardous Waste Collection events scheduled at six locations throughout the country, during November and December 2025. This initiative is part of the National Hazardous Waste Management Plan 2021-2027 (NHWMP) and is coordinated by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment, in collaboration with stakeholders.
Collection Locations:
- Ennis Mart, Co. Clare
- Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ratoath, Co. Meath
- Charleville Show Grounds, Co. Cork
- Truck Show Grounds, Holycross, Co. Tipperary
- Aurivo, Balla Mart, Co. Mayo
- Listowel Mart, Co. Kerry
These events follow the successful trial of farm hazardous waste collection days held in Wexford, Laois and Offaly in autumn 2024.
