Kildare Local Enhancement Programme is now open for applications
Kildare County Council, through the Kildare Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is now inviting applications for the Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026.
The Local Enhancement Programme 2026 is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG). Kildare LCDC has been allocated €246,667.65 to support capital and equipment costs incurred by community groups and organisations across the county.
This funding aims to assist community groups, organisations and centres that are located in areas of disadvantage or that provide services to individuals who are socially excluded.
Priority will be given to:
- Community Centres/Facilities and Parish Halls
- Family Resource Centres
- Youth Centres/Facilities
Applicants may apply for funding up to a maximum of €10,000.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the programme guidelines in full before submitting an application. Forms must be fully completed and include all required supporting documentation. Late or incomplete applications cannot be assessed.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 5.00 pm on Friday 27th February 2026.
