Protecting Our Watercourses – Application of Chemical Fertilisers
Closed season approaching
As the closed season approaches, Kildare County Council would like to remind farmers that the application of chemical fertilisers to land is prohibited between 15th September 2025 and 26th January 2026. This is a key measure under the GAP Regulations to protect water quality and to prevent pollution.
