Kildare County Council, on behalf of Coffey, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it will close the following road on Monday April 20, 2026, to Monday 13 July, 2026 to facilitate works on behalf of Uisce Éireann for the Maynooth Water Network Upgrade.

Alternative Routes: Northbound on R405: When you reach the Shackleton Road junction, take a left onto Shackleton Road towards Tesco. Continue on Shackleton Road for 450 metres until you reach the Aghards Road junction. Take a right onto Aghards Road and continue for 1 kilometre until you reach the R405 junction. Take a left onto the R405 where the diversion ends. Southbound on R405: When you reach the Aghards Road junction, take a right onto Aghards Road towards Shackelton Road. Continue on Aghards Road for 1 kilometre until you reach the Shackleton Road junction and take a left onto Shackleton Road. Continue on Shackleton Road for 450 metres until you reach the R405 where the diversion ends. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
